Eiria is one of the Ten Great Sovereigns and one of the four original sovereign states recognized at the beginning of the Exodus Era.
It is an entirely Esper kingdom ruled by the ancient House Amakusaye, the longest-ruling family on Kepler. Its power comes from continuity: royal bloodline, martial tradition, craftsmanship, and Psinecraft remain central even as the state adopts selected modern institutions and technologies.
Its defining geography is its position on the Eastern Continent between Holy Metzia to its north, Atteria to its south, and Ashura Grando University further to its east.
Its defining political tension is reunification. Eiria and Atteria were once part of the Great Kingdom of Irie, and their possible reunion could repair a historic fracture or destabilize the institutions that have grown around separation.
Geography & Climate
Eiria is partly located in the Alsummer and Alspring Zones, with its capital, AkiYasu, located in the All-Season Zone.
Its northern areas, such as Kairou and Irie-Town, experience Alsummer’s heat. Its eastern and southern areas receive Alspring’s rainfall and biological growth. Its central areas experience rapidly changing weather where climate systems collide.
Eirian architecture flows with the rivers and hills, integrating naturally with landmarks such as the River Konojo and the surrounding blooming trees.
Building Materials
Structures are predominantly crafted from white wood and feature sloping gray tiles.
Many buildings require heat management, shade, reflective materials, and water storage. Eastern low-lying districts use drainage, elevated foundations, and infrastructure resistant to persistent moisture.
Royal and military estates, such as the Dragon Dojo of Bushido, are designed as resilient compounds rather than purely cultural and ceremonial palaces.
Eiria’s most important landmarks are political and cultural: the Imperial Palace—the oldest building on Kepler—the River Konojo, which runs through the center of its capital, and the many statues and monuments of past rulers throughout the Kingdom.
Government & Politics
Eiria is a constitutional monarchy under the unbroken royal bloodline of House Amakusaye.
Succession is governed by the Serpentine Order, which allows an heir to be selected from men and women of the royal house who become eligible when they come of age at 18. The system preserves hereditary legitimacy while allowing flexibility within the dynasty.
The order follows:
- Emperor rules → His eldest daughter becomes his successor.
- Empress rules → Her eldest son succeeds her as Emperor.
Other children of the ruling line are absorbed into the branch families, such as the Amakusa, to become artisans, feudal lords and swordmasters.
If the sitting Emperor or Empress does not produce an heir of the opposite gender, succession passes to an heir of the same gender when the reigning monarch dies or abdicates.
Following this, the pattern becomes:
- Empress rules → Her daughter succeeds her.
- Daughter rules as a second continuous Empress → Her son succeeds her.
- Son rules as the first continuous Emperor → He is succeeded by his son, after which the normal pattern returns if possible.
During the rule of an Empress, her husband, the Emperor, has no political power and is regarded as a King. During the rule of an Emperor, his wife, the Empress, has no political power and is regarded as a Queen.
If the sitting heir does not produce an heir, they choose their successor from among the branch families, and the crown is passed to the selected member of one of those families.
Other unrelated families that demonstrate exceptional competence or skill can become feudal lords or hold important positions but will never be eligible for the throne unless they are absorbed into the extended royal family.
During the Era of the Kingdom of Irie, the spouse of the Emperor or Empress was automatically King or Queen of the Eirian province, while the branch families, like the Amano, were given land and sent to rule the Atterian province.
The Emperor controls foreign policy, dynastic appointments, and the symbolic unity of the kingdom, while feudal lords manage regional production and guilds control skilled economic life.
Economic Overview
Its economy operates through a feudal system dominated by artisan guilds and feudal lords.
Artisan guilds form the productive foundation of the Eirian economy, while feudal lords control significant portions of economic activity and regional production, authorizing merchant workers to use their skills to create tradable products.
Major Imports
- Sunmelons and Spices: Imported from Holy Metzia
- Red Everbloom Trees: Imported from Uttaria
- Blooming Snow and Dragon Scale: Imported from Jureslavia
Emperor Yasu has purchased an airship from Delsur that requires constant maintenance, but the Emperor has not imported equipment for maintaining it or any other foreign technology.
Major Exports
- Radio Parrots: Bred in Eiria and Atteria and raised exclusively for C-BAR use.
- Mana-Stone Fruits: Produced from Everbloom trees.
- Food From Animals: Cattle, swine, poultry, fish, and cullstock.
- Psinecore: The labyrinths of Eiria are functional and usable. Explorers, adventurers, and Wanderers take advantage of the opportunity to harvest and trade psinecore with nations such as Delsur.

Military
The 7 Virtues of Bushido
These are the elite guards responsible for the protection and upkeep of the seven municipalities of Eiria and territories that fall under each. They possess greater authority than regional feudal lords within their municipalities.
Many individuals are trained in one of 7 disciplines at the Dragon Dojo of Bushido to become “vessels” for the 7 Virtues.
After completing their training, one person from each discipline is elevated, this person is then branded with the symbol of their virtue and directed to their assigned municipalities to meet with feudal lords and their forces.
The Emperor/Empress is usually the head of the Dragon Dojo of Bushido, with several branch families serving as masters of each discipline. After completing their training, they are branded with the symbol of their virtue and meet with feudal lords and their forces.
- Meiyo (Honor): 名誉
- Chūgi (Loyalty): 忠義
- Gi (Justice): 義
- Jin (Benevolence): 仁
- Makoto (Honesty): 誠
- Yū (Courage): 勇
- Rei (Respect): 礼
In Eiria, as far back as the Kingdom of Irie, feudal lord forces were not typical knights but were instead considered clan members representing the lord they served and, in some cases, were trained directly by them.
Samurai Clans
Samurai Clans are the forces of the feudal lords Daichi and Kotetsu, who instilled samurai discipline.
Ninja Clans
Ninja Clans are the forces and descendants of the ancient feudal lords Fuma and Koga, who instilled the practices of mental discipline and stealth.
Warlords
Warlords are feudal lords with enough fiefdom under their control to be either as powerful as the Virtues in practice or outright become a Virtue themselves.
Relationship with the Continental Border Assault Regiment
Eiria is a high-priority sovereign state for C-BAR. C-BAR personnel require authorization to enter, but Eiria has granted authorization before for trusted figures. Emperor Yasu permitted Giovanni Mari to enter Eiria to train Kiara and Ryunosuke Sakata.
Eiria has a soft treaty with Holy Metzia and shares ownership of Irie-Town, though the people of Irie-Town want little to do with either nation.
Eiria is also the central partner in the possible reunification with Atteria.
History
The Irie Inheritance
Eiria was once part of the Kingdom of Irie. Unlike Atteria, it retained older institutions after the Irie Civil War.
The First Council Order
Eiria was recognized on January 1, 1 XE and was among the first four sovereign nations of the World Council. Its early recognition reflects the Council’s willingness to incorporate ancient monarchies into the postwar settlement.
Oronai Amakusaye, once of the Eirian province, was the first-ever President of the World Council.
The Tradition-Modernity Balance
Under Emperor Yasu, Eiria adopts newer customs and technologies while preserving longstanding institutions. This is not a complete modernization program. It is selective adaptation intended to preserve royal identity while also refusing to be left completely behind by more modern societies.
The Reunification Era
By 299 XE, Emperor Yasu and King Masamune are closer to reunification than previous generations have been. Kiara’s goal is to reunify the fractured Kingdom of Irie and bring peace to its people.
The main obstacle is not public hostility alone. Reunification threatens the autonomy of Atterian institutions, Eirian feudal interests, aristocratic succession, military commands, and the legal status of Irie-Town. The project may therefore fail through elite resistance even if the royal families agree.
Culture & Society
Eiria is 100% Esper. Its culture emphasizes noble lineage, martial discipline, craftsmanship, family duty, and Psinecraft. Social status is structured around the royal bloodline, feudal rank, guild membership, military honor, and mastery of inherited abilities.
Lalumism is practiced by many Eirians, although it is not the official state religion. Eiria also maintains close political contact with Holy Metzia, creating a space where some Lalumist traditions and Cartaist or Neo-Cartaist claims may coexist, even if uneasily.
Daily life differs sharply by class.
Noble households emphasize ritual, martial education, and genealogy. Guild communities emphasize apprenticeship and craftsmanship. Rural populations are tied to feudal obligations and regional production, while feudal clans organize life around service and honor.
Many Eirian military guards wear traditional lacquered armor and carry naginatas. Citizens wear wooden sandals and woven cloaks, while merchant workers push wooden carts through the streets.
Crescent
Crescent’s standard rules fit Eiria’s culture of formalized combat, restraint, and honor.
Eirian courts favor standard laws rather than David’s Goliath. Face-card stacking is viewed as excessive force, while calculated risk is associated with disciplines like proper swordsmanship.
Race Relations
Eiria’s treatment of Normans and Strigois
The kingdom is entirely Esper, but non-Espers are not treated as outsiders. Rather, tourism is one of the major industries of Eiria because of its many buildings and infrastructure that predate the Convergence War.
The degree of exclusion varies by municipality, as some areas controlled by ninja clans prefer to remain secretive.
